"This tale is from when we investigated Fort Amherst but before we were River End Paranormal and starts in the main gatehouse in the upper rooms, whilst sat in one of these rooms some of us could see the ubiquitous shadows starting their patrol in the corridor but as we watched the shadows going up & down the corridor my little black box started talking, it had said "officer speaking now Scott Murphy passed outside". With this we were excited, shadows and a name, was Scott Murphy the name of the shadow?
Well with information like this who could resist some research, we started with googling the words, died, Chatham Kent, Scott Murphy. What we got surprised us, Google came up with a list of cadets that had died in an accident involving a bus in heavy fog colliding with the cadets in 1951, two of these cadets surnames who had passed were Scott & Murphy.
The accident it self happened on dock road outside Fort Amherst one wall away from where we were investigating.
Whilst talking to Ross our parapsychologist I made the comment that maybe it was an officer who felt guilty over the deaths of so many children, 26 in total. Well, sometime later I came across a book by Phil Mason called 'Kent chronicles of catastrophes & disaster' and in the book was a section on this very accident. The bits that interested me were that just before the accident 2 cadets at the front of the troop were marching out of step so were sent to the back thereby condemning them to be hit first by the bus, were these two boys Scott & Murphy?
The next interesting part was that on 12th December, a mass funeral was held and on each of the graves was left a Posy of violets sent anonymously, inscribed 'In memory of the very gallant little lads who marched in step till the end'. Was this a message from an officer who felt guilty?
After a bit more digging, I found out that apart from non commissioned officers who were themselves cadets there was only one actual officer a lieutenant called 'Clarence Murreyfield Carter'.
Does Clarence haunt Fort Amhersts gatehouse looking out onto the road where so many cadets died under his care. Well, it does have all the right ingredients for a haunting maybe one day we'll find out the answers to our questions but till then happy reading from REP."

"I've had quit a few weird things happening. First one was when i was 15/16 i was at my dads girlfriends house in Worthing and me and my brother were watching tv with her whilst my dad made us drinks. She had a lamp shade light on her dining room table next to the sofa and this light was the only light on and all of a sudden the shade around the bulb starting shake like mad. And there were no windows open and no one knocked it as all 3 of us were sat down and we all looked at each other like wth was what. Was as if someone smacked it with a great force. And she called my dad into the room and it was still shaking and my dad thought we were winding him up.
Second time was when i was pregnant and living with my boyfriend a coco pops cereal box moved on the side . I was on the sofa and saw it swaying back n fourth on the kitchen counter. I thought it was my kitten so got up to get her out as it was an empty box but she wasnt there. So i freaked out and i told my boyfriend who was in the shower and my kitten was asleep on our bed. This was shortly after his grandad died so think it was him.
Lastly i went on an investigation with my brother and two of my friends to old wardpur castle. We where looking around the grounds and came across a small fence where a field was. Was just an empty field with no animals as we would of heard and seen them. We were down there for a good 10 mins and i went to climb over and as i put my leg up on the fence ready to jump over me and my brother heard a horse galloping towards us out of nowhere. There was nothing in front of us which scared the hell out of me so i got off the fence and ran away. My two friends said there heard a group off horses running but me and my brother only heard one. It was almost as if it was guarding the castle still. It was only a few feet in front of me as well. I felt its presence and heard its hoofs but didn't see it."

"Ok these are 3 but they are all connected twice on a same night and another one the night before
First night during a public investigation I go up into an attic with a public group and two team mates
As we are up there i take one of the girls from the group and go to the other end of the attic to see if anything would happen so we just sit and chat and out of nowhere we both here a young boy laugh right beside us and we both sit stunned
Now second night me and a team mate go up into the attic to set up equipment so he climbs up first and stops but continues on and I go up next but as I stick my head through the hole in attic to get into it I hear the same boy laugh from the day before
And I asked my friend if he heard it too and he did
But later on we are using the psb11 and and I ask questions and a young boy comes through so I ask if he can show himself and a few minutes later he does to the right of me in a split second. So I asked if he showed himself and a young boys voice comes through saying yes."
